  • By June 2011, its price surged to around $31 before crashing back to single digits by November 2011.

  • In April 2013, Bitcoin surpassed its previous all-time high, reaching over $200.

  • Towards the end of 2013, Bitcoin experienced a significant rally, reaching an all-time high of around $1,200 in December before dropping back down.

  • Throughout 2014 and 2015, Bitcoin's price remained relatively stable, fluctuating between $200 and $500.

  • In 2017, Bitcoin experienced another massive rally, surpassing $1,000 in January and eventually reaching nearly $20,000 in December.

  • 2018 saw a significant correction, with Bitcoin's price falling back to around $3,000 by the end of the year.

  • Throughout 2019 and 2020, Bitcoin's price gradually increased, reaching around $10,000 by mid-2020.

  • In late 2020 and early 2021, Bitcoin's price surged again, reaching a new all-time high of over $60,000 in April 2021.

  • Throughout 2021 and into 2022, Bitcoin's price experienced volatility, reaching peaks and troughs but generally remaining above $30,000. Falling as low as $16,000.

  • Today (3/5/24) Bitcoin Surpasses 2021 ATH to a price of around $69,300
